I don't really understand people who deny their own subjective experience, seems like you're throwing the baby out with the bathwater just because you can't reconcile it with your commitment to materialism. You know for a fact that qualia exist, you experience them first hand. If that fact conflicts with materialism then the correct thing to do is dump materialism, not deny your own experience.
