>>11333764Won't lie and say signal processing isn't useful, as you can pick some great tricks up from it, but it's not the be-all end-all of engineering. In fact, you have to be pretty aspie to do integrals for the rest of your life, like, as a profession and whatnot.
I wrote my masters thesis on wavelet theory for lock-in amplifiers in instrumentation (pic related). As useful as it was, still glad I'm building real hardware and not staring at maths textbooks all day.
