Do you think it's a waste of human resources to stop the spread of the new coronavirus?

1. It's not that deadly, it is mostly the elderly and the ill that have died. Just like the regular flu virus.

2. It spreads before symptoms show so it is a losing battle to try and prevent the spread.

If it were up to me the world would just continue as normal, no restricting travel. Nothing. Tell me why I'm wrong, /sci/.
