The match of most proteins to known bat corona viruses is more like 70%. Because we have so much data on bats, the odds that we have samples similar to it are higher, even though it might actually be from another species.

The BLAST run I did showed similarities to several different bat strains so a host intra-cell cross-over event that gave it survivability in sneks is quite possible.
Snakes were known to be sold at the market in question (they're also delicious, they taste like extra savoury chicken).
