My question is will solar pannels absorb more energy if they were closer to the sun (made a pic to demonstrate my problem).
I know the answer is yes but would it be worth to place solar pannels on for ex. scyscraper?
Is the light difference (energy generated) on different height so significant?

Photons that fall longer will hit the panels the hardest, thus making more energy.
Actually we should install PVs at the bottom of pits.

But there would be less light in pits, there is more lights on higher points, maybe more energy from individual photon but less photons in general. Am I wrong? Also the moving of the sun is important here I think but that's another topic.

Isn't the photon slowing down in the atmosphere and due to gravity? How does it behave, maybe the speed of it is constans? I doubt it speeds up..

Of course.

The difference is basically nonexistent, but you might as well stick them up there anyway.

Obviously what you're suggesting is retarded. Ignoring the atmosphere, you would get a negligible increase in photon flux due to the increased intensity. Its the height of a sky scraper vs the radius of earths orbit.

Check out this related Japanese concept, the selling point is reduced effect of the atmosphere, and that it can generate electricity around the clock instead of just during the day.
