Some types of cancer thrive on glucose, and eating keto or fasting can work. But some cancers thrive on fatty acids (or maybe even ketones). Some people have a severe genetic defect, for which diet/exercise have little impact. Besides diet and physical activity, I think stress is the most important contributor to disease. If everyone ate healthy, had plenty of physical activity, and low chronic stress, I think pretty much no one would be obese or have type 2 diabetes. And there would be less people with autism, epilepsy, (bipolar) depression, schizophrenia, ADD, MS, dementia, and cancer. But all of them would still occur, just at lower rates.
