If we are to consider wisdom an opposite of dumbness, and define wisdom as knowledge, memory, problem-solving techniques, and pattern recognition ability gathered and improved over time and practice, then it is an undeniable fact that any amount of drinking hinders your ability to become wise, not just because of the time you waste compared to your potential, but also because of the recovery time required after drinking. In addition, drinking can cause you to act and think more stupidly. Over time, a pattern of dumber behavior can become a general habit of dumber behavior, even while sober, and this will simply become general stupidity. Of course, none of the above matters, because you're a pathetic, idiotic loser, who's just going to waste his time doing stupid shit, instead of squeezing every second he has for its benefit to him, and would never do any better in life sober than drunk. That bit of shade at the end is the only valid counterargument you could possibly have.
