I believe that my mind is not blown because I do not understand the concept fully. What i'm picking up from what you are setting down (in which I MAY BE INCORRECT) is that the heat flux function, (the the flow of heat divided by the time) is equal to (minus) the gradeint, hence the rate of change in 3 spacial dimensions, of the Temperature function, in which the temperature function is stored energy, potential energy. Having wrote this this is intriguing to me, but I haven't taken thermodynamics classes yet so I am too limited in what is going on to be thoroughly awestruck haha. thank you for posting that equation though anon :)
