It's all about the purpose one finds within. Perhaps you simply wish to know more about a subject. Or maybe you have a clear goal that you have to learn other subjects for. Last thread there was some medanon that was learning physics on his own and he said it changed his entire perspective on the medical field. There are many different reasons one might want to learn that don't deal with (((college)))

That helped me envision what I wanted, although I did that on my own, without any systematic approach, it's just that what I did on instinct is essentially that. It didn't help improve my attention span though.

I've decided lads. I'm going to Uni. I want to go all the way for a full blown Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics (because fuck applications).
But before that, I'm wondering if I should just outright test out through my Bachelor's. Would that be feasible to even learn that much assuming I'm somewhat above average in intelligence?

For the bullshit classes like World History, Composition, and whatever your Uni calls "powerpoint class", absolutely. For Math and Physics no. There is a limit to the number of credits you can test out. Save those for the boring parts.

What would be good books to go through so that I can refresh my memory on maths from middle to highschool level? I wanted to study the subject more in-depth, but found myself having some gaps, especially in geometry and things related to that. I checked the sticky but I think books there are at a more advanced level than I'd be capable of understanding currently. I'd be much obliged for any recommendations.
