Questions about the 2nd dimension:

Is there a floor? What are they 2D beings moving on? If it's a ground, then there's height in this dimension.
If no ground, then what's holding these 2D being from falling down, or floating up?

As someone knowledgeable in math, having a "floor" or "ceiling", or even moving "up" or "down" in some space (2D in this case) is meaningless--it is an ideal space.

Taking it to the absurd for the same reason, say you want to avoid someone standing 2 feet in front you in 3D space. You note the number on the top of his head to be 63. All you have to do is change the number on your head to 64 and you will have avoided him. This is an ideal scenario of working with 4D space.

Dimensions are interesting especially supposing that there is more than 3 and that they could be storing time and multiples of time. More dimensions = more room, and with enough room you could store everything in any possible combination.
