Yes. When I take melatonin I get some weird and intense dreams. Not sure if they are lucid. And I usually feel good and rested when I wake up. Maybe even better than when I do not take melatoning. I think taking melatonin can increase the amount of REM sleep.

What? Lucid dreams are completely normal, well understood, and perfect valid. I've never heard of someone who's never gone lucid in a dream before, not even once?

You may be confusing lucide dreaming and astral projecting, where the latter is your "soul" leaving your body to another spiritual dimension, and lucid dreaming is becoming aware you are dreaming during a dream
