A digital wave is always squared, you can't avoid that. it gets better with a higher bit resolution and faster sampling speeds, but will always be 'choppy' when reproduced.
The massive, painful, glaring argument against these videos is that the tools they are using to measure the outputs/waves are DIGITAL themselves, and run at a LOWER bit resolution than the audio source. There is zero chance to get proper data with tools of lower quality than the source you're measuring.
So few people really understand the overlap between analog and digital.
Hell, music CD's are digital. You get a choppy wave with that. They are encoded in 16-bit resolution at 44.1khz sampling.
If you wanted to properly plot the data of the audio cd with an oscilloscope, you would need to have one that matched the music bitrate, at a minimum.
