Hey there y'all. I've been running a windows 7 HP laptop that is 7-8 years old but, with the new decade, (and windows 7 support ceasing) I've been thinking about upgrading to something new.
But, I want to use something that will be good for programming on.
I've been teaching myself (using online resources like the odin project) for a couple months and have built a rudimentary website but have been using a virtual machine of Xubuntu.

I'm not sure if I'm best off using this strategy on a relatively cheaper PC or if its really worth it to save up for a MAC instead.
