I don't buy into transgenderism being legit, and I think sex=gender, but even if for the sake of argument it is legit, there would still only be two genders, man and woman, it's just that some males would identify as female and some females identify as men. Many trans people strongly believe in only two genders.
All of that nonbinary shit makes absolutely no sense. If we don't base gender on sex, even including believing trans as real, it ceases to have all meaning. What genders lie outside man and woman? Even if it is a "spectrum", it is a spectrum between two absolutes, which would still imply two genders. Seriously, only the most tumblr of tumblrites believe in more than two genders. People in real life here in the west have not become so fucked as to disagree with that, although the amount of people who consider transgenderism to be valid is disturbing to me
