>>11313598Sleep 7-9hrs a night. Work out what you need but don't go past 9hrs.
Have a wind-down time before bed so your body preps for easily falling asleep and you're not restless.
Preferably wake up just as the sun has risen or is rising.
Once the sun goes down, avoid bright lights and especially blue light. Don't use any bulbs that aren't soft interior lights, use bluelight removers / night mode for all devices set to when the sun goes down or a bit before.
Make sure you spend time outside or at least have lots of natural light on you. Wide open windows.
Avoid doing things in bed aside from sleeping (don't want to associate other activities, a bed should quickly trigger sleep -- of course you can have sex too but that's not applicable anyway). When you lie down certain changes occur in you that prompt sleep, if you associate them with trying to stay awake and watching anime or some shit then sleeping will be harder because your triggers and behaviour patterns will be all confused.
Don't eat before bed, that includes anything digestible such as milk. Preferably at least 2hrs. You should also fast. Only having a 4-8hr window for eating a day this helps both digestion and sleep, among other things.
Exercise daily (no need to go hard daily, just exert your body a bit however you can).
Always stick to your routine because more than trying or wanting to do something, you operate along triggers, habits, and cycles.
