>>11312350It's 'The Dismal Science', because to some degree it is as rigorous as other sciences, but you can't test hypotheses because plunging millions of people into poverty by testing a bad theory is too big of an ethical risk (except for communists and Sam Brownback). You could argue it isn't a science at all for this reason, of course, but that might mean medicine isn't either. Where to draw the line?
