My house got hit by lightning on new years day. It blew every light, my TV, my fridge, my computer and several switches. The insurance guys told me I need to check all electronics which weren't plugged in and I discovered it also killed all 3 of my laptops. So it must have generated a voltage in them through electromagnetic radiation right? Can someone explain how it did this and doesn't that mean it could also generate voltage inside our brains... isn't that dangerous?
