If they have powerful noses, you'll NEVER be able to sneak up on one because they will always know where you are first. It's possible they had horrible experiences with ancient humans and developed a culture of total avoidance of humans. If they are intelligent and have decided to do this, there's no hope in ever finding them. It's possible that the P-G footage is genuine and is the only real footage of the species. That would demonstrate a very low rate of discovery. There might be just handful of real footage in existence, but obviously most are faked. I'm just saying it's completely possible for this to be a legitimate species. The P-G footage displays a very odd looking specimen in the sense that no costume maker would ever design something like that in the 60s. It far from resembles anything like the Hollywood costumes made then, or ever, really. Not to mention the breasts, which is an odd detail.
