So if 1 Ampere is measured by a certain amount of electrons moving per second (1 Coulomb worth of electrons), then why is Ampere a base unit instead of Coulomb even though Ampere is entirely dependent on Coulomb, which has much more credibility as a base unit due to being based on a constant value in the same way Mole is (which is also a base unit, mind you)?
