What’s the best way for a coomer neet with adhd to get good at math?

I have plenty of time on my hands and want to start from the absolute basics and work myself up

Any good courses/YouTube videos out there or should I just stick to the books?

Kkan academy, do all of the problems. Not just watching videos and "reading up". You won't learn math unless you start doing math. You might want to start with high school algebra

If you have for-real ADHD then you won't get much done without medication. Like others have said, Khan Academy is your best bet up to around the second half of calculus. It's set up in a way that you could blow through it and get caught up completely in a few months at most, assuming you start out at least somewhat familiar with algebra. After that, come back and make this thread again. There's no obvious path beyond high-school calculus, so you'll need to do some of your own research to recognize the avenues you've opened up.

Exercise and eating healthy is paramount, and it's going to take willpower to resist abusing medication so you can fuck around once the well-defined structure of Khan Academy is no longer useful to you.

University is the best way to get a foundation for math. You need calc 1-3, diff eq and linear algebra as a foundation. These subjects need to be mindlessly drilled into your head, and universities actually do a good job of this. It also helps to take some physics courses beyond meme introductory physics, like classical mechanics and QM. In those classes you'll realize your A's is math mean shit, and you actually have to understand mathematics on a deep level. Once you have a deep understanding of the basics you can go on to analysis, algebra, number theory, or whatever interests you.
