Can anyone suggest to me a good biology textbook series for school in english? Also I want to know how this courses are classiefied in Europe and USA. For example, in Russia we have primary (1-4 grades), main (5-9) and middle (10-11) school education. We learn basic biology at primary school, main courses include protozoans and plants for 5-6th grades, animals for 7th grade, anatomy for 8th grade and evolution theory, DNA and other stuff for 9th grade. 10-11th grades summ up all the courses.
