More importantly, I'm not sure how we'd die out from having too many people.
Plus there's the whole "peak child" thing.
We've had about the same number of children (under 14) worldwide since the 90's.
The only reason thee population's still going up is there aren't enough old people leaving to balance the new babies arriving.
Current trends continuing, it'll work itself out.
