The baby chicken has no problem being a chicken. Once it breaks out of its shell it will l quickly master everything that constitutes being a chicken. It does this effortlessly.

The human has much problem being a human. Once born it faces a learning process that lasts till death and can cause self inflicted death. With much effort and chemical assistance it is normal for the human to die before mastering being a human.

The human is missing its God. A material God, Master, Guru, Owner, that it can see and touch and hear. Like the Gods of old. This is why humans can be made to submit. It is built into us. How could spiritual thinking, that includes scientific wonder, be evolved?
