I know Partial Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Multivariable Calculus. Is this enough math knowledge to learn basic Quantum Physics?

Basically alot of orthogonal functions. Integral equations/greens functions. Fourier analysis, transform methods. Linear algebra (advanced not basic herpderp I know eigenfunctions). Asymptotic analysis and spectral theory. Note that only parts of each of these will be used and it is up to you to determine where to stop in each subcategory.

When you solve the hamiltonian in the classical way. Aka you end up with e^iHt where H is the hamiltonian matrix. Basically you can formulate the wavefunction like this. Also to solve harder problems later on

mutivar calc basically just follows easily from 1 and 2 dimensional calc that you need more shit to fit into the course, hence your vector calc at the end of the course. there should also be another course seperately for vector calc that will serve as a prereq for intermediate electromag. As for the math behind quantum, im sure it would help to learn abstract linear algebra (much more than the elementary shit they teach you in your first class on it like matrices and eigenvalues). more specifically, hilbert spaces and even a course on waves and vibrations would help (oscillations on a string, then wave propagation, then solving the wave equation, learning fouries series, transforms, etc. -pretty cool i found it)
