Is it people going to war over whose imaginary friend is better, the fact the average person doubles down on their beliefs when given evidence they are wrong or that many don't think about the world beyond their own experience?
I would argue that waiting for "humanity to be responsible enough" would mean we still wouldn't have electricity as it was only because of the early deaths that made us figure out how to make it safer.
