I know the topic is kind of a maymay, but it has bothered me for a while.

Do regular, most common people create fictions on their minds? Characters, settings, etc.

Seems to be an inherent thing on people with some sort of critical thinking to have long lasting fictions in their minds but I dont think that is a thing with most people.
