Really just another person who mixes feel good eastern religious ideas with psychiatry. I'm probably in the minority here and i'd say there's some value there but it's really pseudoscientific and you should take it with a grain of salt.

Wanted to believe what he had to say but I just don't completely buy, instead he's only saying that to make the average joe/gamer feel special about themselves and think they 'relate' to what's being said, which is nice and all but it loses its balance when you soon realise that not everything is possible and understand that everyone is limited to an extent, thus this whole motivational spit was really a tactical spit to get you on his programme and subscribe to whatever crappy therapy he's promoting.

I've seen a lot of people that get caught up with looking for patterns and explanations. Psychologists are usually doing the same thing, but they get a professional position where they give their explanations to other people. This often ends up leaving people satisfied because someone is giving them what they are looking for. Observing patterns of behaviour and thought isn't a poor practice in itself, but seeking and coming to conclusions that are anything other than the data you collect is not going to help you. I suspect that Dr. Kanojia's explanations will just temporarily satisfy people. If you feel like you're suffering from these kind of problems, I'd suggest trying to view language as an independent experience.

it's basically modernized fortune telling that's turned into a legalized profession, you don't go there to get help you go there to vent out and have someone else tell you what you want to hear and when your buying temperature is up from opening up and him winning your trust, to push all the unnecessary pills you supposedly need but also of course to convince you to keep coming for at least 5 more times so he can "track" your progress

Apart from legitimate mental illnesses, psychiatry is a complete scam and in fact ironically doesn't even make people happier but sadder.

hes in his position now due to the fact he was a gamer in his past. that is just the future course of things, anywhere our heart is poured out we can see clearly the issues that resolve in those communities. is it ever a coincidence, well lets say alcoholic anonymous volunteers only wish to help people that have had the same struggles as themselves? no it is not merely a coincidence that people find purpose in helping those that were as lost as themselves one day. now this sounds highly profitable, too much so infact for me to put it like that.
