I am pretty unknowledgeable in the section of Biology, but this is something interesting I thought:
As a species, we will be able to solve many more problems and make many more advancements if we are able to think in higher dimensions.
This could be achieved if there comes a first wave of gene scientists who, after experimenting a great deal, create a conscience that is capable of understanding 4 dimensions slightly better than the rest of the population. Then, this gene is promoted to a high percentage of the population. When this new generation with the modified gene grows up, some of them help solve problems in other fields, but some others instead go again into gene studies and now, with their deeper understanding of 4 dimensions, help modify the existing gene set into a conscience that can understand 4 dimensions even better. This laborious process is repeated until there exists a gene set that can create a conscience able to think as comfortable in 4 dimensions as we can in 3.
Obviously, I understand that we have to learn a lot about genes to even take the first step, but is this a valid goal for the future?
