Hey /sci/ I am soliciting some advice for any anons who have some industrial experience under their belt. I am a synthetic/medicinal chemist so experience in that specific field would be a bonus but not completely necessary to advise. This applies to sciences mostly where some skill is required in order to be productive. But what would you do if you have come to find that your manager is likely a complete fraud/actor? Who sits in his office all day and delegates what needs to be done on others while simultaneously kissing his boss's ass constantly so as to keep the impression going that he actually contributes? Sits in his office literally all day instead of being in the lab. Would anons suck it up to learn as much as possible, or am I hurting myself just by remaining here any longer? Anyone with similar stories? I've been here a bit over a year now. Beginning to really hate it, and him.
