Since /sci/ stands for science & math & medicine, what's up with the pins n needles feeling in my arms when I wake up.
Its happened to all of us, but lately the last couple weeks, it's every day (or at least in the middle of the night) I wake up with at least one arm or hand feeling dead. Today I woke up with both arms under the pillow, my head on top, and both arms with pins n needles from shoulder to fingertip.
I could still move them just fine but you know how that feels.
Anyone know if there's something wrong with me? Underlying diabetes or liver problems? Or am I just falling asleep in stupid positions?
Any long term effects to worry about?
A bit about me-
30yo
Healthy (as in no meds needed)
Slim build but increasingly out of shape
Sleep naked in a comfy bed
Hobbies include guitar and shit posting on 4chins
Diet is typically coffee for breakfast, then pasta or pizza with some fruits in between
I drink once a week usually, but a lot when I do
Used to smoke but have cut down almost entirely in the past year
In fact last time I woke up without pins n needles was Saturday morning I woke up on a couch fully clothed, but hungover af.
