Do sibling all have the same intellectual ability? I myself am at university studying stem. I also did well in high school. My brother did terrible in high school and now is doing a labor intensive job. Did he have to do so bad? Does he have the potential to be as smart as I am but due to a different upbringing he is not?

intelligence is probably close if you both have the same father and mother. but doing well in school and getting a good job doesn't only depend on intelligence. so he's probably as smart as you are, but he has a different personality and different life path (environment/situation).

I'm the smartest person in my family but a rough upbringing left us all just living a mediocre life. My mother on the other hand who is denser than my sperg ass and not the best in school got her Ph.D. recently. Intelligence isn't a good measure of success.

Secondly, nutrition, childhood habits, injuries, luck all together also greatly influence your definitive IQ once you reach adulthood
