According to this man, faith, hope or belief is an essential ingredient for surviving another day, going on living and feeling that life is worthwhile. What do we, the denizens of /sci/, believe in or hope for that keeps us going? Personally, as I look to the future, despite all the recent advancements, I see nothing but certain death and the total destruction of everything we have worked for. So I have come to ask what you see as something to live for. Do you believe our efforts will not have been in vain, and if so, how do you think we will achieve ultimate 'salvation' for our species?
