Have an impact on the world, be influential, gain authority on others, live a nicer lifestyle, live longer, be more wealthy overall.

Of course these are not relevant if you're depressed & too lazy to do anything. It seems that intelligence scales based on your lifestyle: If you live well already, higher intelligence will make things better.

Somehow high IQ people are still too stupid to be happy though which doesn't make a lot of sense. They seem to be falling for the "Depression is a chemical error in the brain" meme.

With a proper upbringing anything up to 150 or so can be completely normally functioning.The most important part of a gifted persons life is their childhood, most are very sensitive and proud, and if you fuck that up with abuse then it becomes hard to recover. I'm in the 140s and can function completely fine. It takes some practice (wasn't very social as a kid, could be due to the fact that I was advanced by 4 years in math and science so I was much younger than many of my classmates) but getting a job that forced me to socialize basically sorted everything out. Most people noticeably smarter than me are often spergs or have mental things going on. As long as you can surround yourself with people with above average intelligence you should be fine and even do better than average, more risk and more reward.

for memory: take plenty of notes. don't feel embarrassed or whatever to look things up multiple times.
focus: reduce distractions in your environment, and practice it a lot. if you're on your phone all day, it's gonna be harder to focus when you have to study.
