Actually OP did not define what he exactly meant by math or emergent of fundamental. I assume he means

Imagine if an infinite amount of parallel universes existed, what would a universe that fundamentally is built up of math (as in: pattern recognition) look like?

On the other hand, mathematics is the abstraction of patterns seen in the physical world. Or the abstraction of already abstract patterns. Which is clearly emergent.
