The "dimension" you're talking about describe the amount of information you would need to find something if you entered the system, and is NOT the physical description of time.
For example, I am super intelligent AI from another universe, and I want to find timmy who lives in a 1D universe. In order to find him I need one point of information, how far he is on the line, in order to find him. In our universe you would need four points of information, the basic 3 spacial dimensions (assuming a reference point is possible to find natively) and a 1 dimension of "when" to find him.
What you posted is purely a thought experiment and does not matter when describing relativity or spacetime to someone
