Why is there such a high bar for maths in school/academia to pass but everything else can just be touched in a surface level and then forgotten?
Coding and computing go as deep as databases and HTML and maybe SCRATCH at best, but maths go way deeper in the curriculums even though it's a more niche field.
I only ever used stats and volume and that's about it.
Is it because math is seen as the big brained boi of academia?
