The modern right wing is something trump created with his charisma. He is part of the elite that control the narrative using their own abilities. He thought "I'll create this movement and become the leader of it and they'll vote for me."
If you eliminate trump, and replace him with all the other generic Republicans, we wouldn't have what we have today.
