Is the US education system shit? Does the US have to lean on foreign educated scientists and do most American born people just want to be influences or businessmen?
Does this also mean that the US as a country doesn't reall contribute to science (since the migrants existed w/o the US)?

Also the field of science the U.S. seems to excel in terms of academics/nobel prizes the most is medicine. Which makes sense due to it typically being a money intensive field and the U.S. is a big economy.

Are not accurate because foreign born doesn't mean foreign educated. Having that statistic would help elucidate the above and make claims with regard to pre-grad education.
