Are they any studies comparing the safety of different types of smoking? Filter vs non filter? I have a friend who smokes a pipe (with filter) and cigar a few times a month and he claims that it's safer since you don't inhale into your lungs, he also says the filter takes out the tar, but he couldn't show me any studies verifying how much safer it actually was so I'm wondering is this was all cope or it is quantifiably safer
