Over ambition and the worst tutor in the history of mankind.
In my first semester I did the homeworks, but I didn't go through them after I finished them. What I did instead:
I calculated through the entire math book and did the exercises of my tutor (you can't chose your tutor btw., German university of applied science). I failed Calc 1.
In Calc 2 I did a similar mistake, but this time I only did my tutors exercises because he said it was more near the lecture. I failed Calc 2.
In my second try I used only and solely KA. I failed the second time Calc 2.
In general over ambition and the worst study method in history. I hate myself and threw away an entire year. In Calc 2 I had up to 60 hours a week calculating through the Khan Academy exercises of Calc 2. Waste of time. I wonder why KA gets recommended here, it is great as a basic tutorial to watch, but never bother with actually doing the exercises on the site because you will fail past HS math.
