You are not multiplying apples by apples in your image. You are making 2 rows with 3 apples each. Of course it doesnt matter that its rows, you have two of [3 apples].
Not "two apple" rows with 3 apples each.
How many rows would "two apple rows" be?
Not "two apple" [3 apples]
How many [3 apples] would that be?
That would only work in real life if "two apples" were a number.
To make it even clearer:
1 apple * 1 apple
So one apple apples.
So how many apples is that?
How "many" is an apple? Obviously not one because then one, one apple and one banana and one car would be the same thing.
So this shows you that you can't multily apples with apples in real life, and what you are actually doing is multiplying apples with just a number. You can do that in math of course, but in the case of apples there isn't much of a point
because the "square apple" isn't very common to see.
>wtf is an integer-appleNot an integer-apple, just an integer. If you can't accept that numbers are a thing, there isn't really much of a point in doing math.
