so in this book (or maybe the sequel) the author suggests global warming could be counter-acted by getting lots of sulfur-dioxide into the atmosphere. which wouldn't even be that expensive, some single canadian site has enough sulfur to cool the whole planet down.

could global warming really wipe us out without us finding a working solution out of the billion different propositions?
