Hi /sci/!
I have a question regarding using machine learning for a classification problem:
Assume I have 150 characters in a game that have different properties. Professional Analysts are saying that these characters are usually in one of three groups (strong early, strong mid, strong late). These groups are mutually exclusive.
It goes that if a character is early, its winrate would be higher in shorter games and vice versa. Thus, if I have a dataset with winrates on game length, how would I go about dividing the characters into the three groups?
I have no idea which analysis to use for this.
Thank you for taking the time to read and answer. Have a nice day.
