In 15 years I could imagine parents to genetically modificate their children so that the probability for cancer or alzheimer drops, maybe some general health augmentation will also be applied. A minority will also use genetic engineering to enhance their child's intelligence and fitness but this will seen to be more dubious by the public. Some parents will by then do far more stuff than just helping their child and seek to enforce their will upon them by modifying their personality, traits and appearance. This will make a genetic agency necessary. 2 or 3 decades further in the future the intelligence and fitness enhancements will have become accepted by society as the augments now have grown into adulthood and proved to be healthy and successful. By then society will have chosen to accept enhancements in general, radical stuff will still be disliked or even hated. In the last decades of this century there will also be a divide between germline modifications and para human modifications. But this will only play a small role because in the beginning of the 22th century the posthuman era will slowly begin.
