I'm not a researcher so I don't exactly know but is Sci-hub really that unethical? I mean from what i've heard academics don't really get their dues anyway so

Researchers don't get more than what they were originally paid, via grant/funding, which isn't much. They don't get anything from publisher paywalls. As a researcher you may need to pay up to $5k to get your paper published, depending on where you want it published. The entire system is 200% corrupted.

Yeah, researchers get dick all from publishers.
It's probably one of the biggest problems in research these days aside from University budget officers throttling free research.
Luckily the researchers still have creative rights over their research and if you email them asking for a copy of the pdf, they will often send you a copy.
Not always the case for really important or influential papers but if it's some niche study it's always worth a try.

No. The only thing wrong with sci-hub is I haven't written a captcha autosolver to batch download the entirety of its database. Journals in the digital age have held back human understanding more than anything else. They're glorified typesetters at this point.
