What sources do you use? Science magazines are out of the question for me cause they are expensive as fuck and I'm simply not competent enough.

But also not too pop-sci as I want some depth and more rigorous fact-checking as well as authors who actually understand what the fuck they are talking about.

Basically I want like a Guardian or an Observer for science - with less retarded opinions and science instead of Trump and bush fires.

Specifically it would be great to have articles where for each new discovery they take time and space to give a fair explanation of all the physics/math you need to know to understand the topic.
