This to all the psychologists, neuroscientists, etc here.
There's this tendency to have resistance towards a CHANGE of activity even it's completely called for. And apparently everybody has it to a degree, but I've noticed that it's extremely strong in me.
Staying in bed for up to 9.5 hours - even if I was totally rested after 6, then not going to sleep even I'm super sleepy.
Constantly being late cause I just keep doing some bullshit I "got stuck in".
The upside is that once I start something productive - even if it's not enjoyable - I REALLY do it and don't wanna stop that as well, even for something enjoyable. But then again I would also escape by doing retarded shit I hate like watching some bullshit instead of actually something I would enjoy but it takes more effort.
Now with a lot of resistance it comes from childhood trauma, suppressed emotions still ruling you, some fundamental fears.
Or it can come from a general emotional state you're in (also called "energy levels" in eastern literature, but that doesn't make it esoteric or woo-woo. just words to describe a phenomenon via physics analogy), where you can't get angry for example, if you're mostly feeling shame.
But with this thing I'm not totally sure.
So I wonder where exactly does this come from, how best to eliminate it completely and what's it's relationship to the state of apathy?
Also share your experiences and progress with it as well.
