Biomedical science vs Pyschological jargon

I am wondering "Is palliative medicine is an industry of it's own? Is their really a "Big Palla" industry slowing down scientific progress on curing disease.

I have heard disabled people with painful neuropathies and or intrusive tinnitus complain that biomedical research, gene therapies, tissue engineering, stem cells would all be far more advance if it was not for palliative treatments getting the vast majority of funding to address medical problems. CBT and pain killers are significantly cheaper then biomedical tissue engineering to trick the body to regenerate peripheral nerves. (obviously) but I can't help but notice that psychiatrist and psychologist dominate western medicine and they are advocating that tinnitus and chronic pain can be 100% manageable and it's all a matter of mind over matter.

Here is an example of the bullshit people who suffer from tinnitus and painful nerve injuries have to put up with. They are force feed this propaganda.
