If physics as a science was invented by the let's say Chinese would it be studied different? Would an atom look the same?

atoms would look the same regardless. the models might be a bit different or constructed in a different way, but they'd all match performance of reality.

Suppose its not Chinese but aliens. Would they look at physics differently? Absolutely. The geometric ideas related to atomic models, physics theories will all be different. People take it for granted that our current geometric model is based upon platonic solids. Every few years, that model gets chipped away and people try to cling onto it.

The question was "would atom look the same"? Its a perception issue. Our perception of atom is based upon geometric principles laid in the foundations of greek philosophy.

Ofcourse mathematically, it will be give similar readings and such, but perceptually, it will be very different. The idea of electron orbit, planet orbiting sun, shape of planet, are all human perceptual understanding of the universe.

But that is true for every sensorial perception of every sentient being. You do not have an equal perception or thought to anyone or anything else that isn't part of you. By your own definition of perception, no one's perception of an atom is that of the ancient Greeks except the ancient Greeks themselves because it is impossible to share qualia.

Maybe there will be an alien race that interacts differently to fundamental forces than ordinary carbon matter. Some alien might have perception based not on eyes but on field effects directly. Thus the term "invisible" and "untouchable" would be irrelevant. Maybe the aliens could be 1 mm long and thus not an issue of experimentation. Maybe to them its not a ball of sphere rotating around in orbit. Maybe its not a lump of hard indivisible objects bound together if their atomic structure make up allows for interaction directly.
