hey /sci/
I'm posting here because I'm just an oldfag still lurking boards on boring nights, and I have a question for you all since I'm intellectually inferior to the average /sci/entist

I'm 24 years old, and dumb as dirt. I'm curious and ambitious but that's about it.

I'm at an 8th grade math level probably, I failed pre-algebra and beginning algebra 5 times each in Community College.

Science wise, Chemistry is tricky for me and I failed it twice, but I got a C in intro to physics and intro to solar systems. I love biology though. Always loved biology.

I really like biomedical engineering, biotech, biochem, but I also like stuff like neuroscience.

Basically though, I'm living at my folks place earning minimum wage as a delivery boy, and I want to truly understand science. Before I even think about going back to school, I want to understand all of these things to a level that I should.

But I can't pick just one, I'm interested in too many and don't know where to start.

I've been doing Biology & Pre-Algebra on Khan Academy, but I keep feeling like I should be doing statistics too, and chemistry, to better understand those things. I wanna dabble in everything but I wanna perfect one or two and hopefully get a Master's someday.

What should I focus on?

If you were presented with the options to study Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Biology, or Neuroscience, which one is guaranteed to get me a good job in research?

I'm willing to put all the effort and time I need to, I just had enough of being a dumb white trash piece of shit and I wanna do the best I can, even if I'm not a genius.

What do?
